Candle Care 101

Trim your wick to ~1/4 inch before each burn.

For the first burn, allow the candle to reach a full melt pool across the entire diameter of the vessel to prevent tunneling. 

Never leave your candle unattended or place it near children, pets, flammable objects, or drafts.

Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time. 

Removing carbon buildup before each burn helps your candle burn cleanly and keeps the air soot-free. 

Never leave wick trimmings, matches, or other flammable objects in the wax pool, as they can ignite.

Do not touch the candle while it’s burning or if the glass is hot. Always place it on a heat-resistant surface. 

Stop burning the candle when 1/2 inch of wax remains to prevent the jar from overheating.
